Construction Update - 10/28/11
On the future Medical Mart site at the corner of St. Clair and Ontario, the large middle mat pour consisting of more than 4,000 cubic yards of concrete, which equates to more than 400 truckloads, was placed on October 15. The concourse level structural deck that is above the lower mat in the Medical Mart was also poured in mid-October, marking the end of the structural concrete systems for the Medical Mart portion of the project. The construction team assembled the steel crane on the Medical Mart site. Steel erection began for the Mezzanine level with upper level steel erection scheduled to begin within the next week.

Construction Update - 10/07/11
On the future Medical Mart site, the second of three large structural concrete mats (900 cubic yards of concrete) was placed early (beginning at 4:30 a.m.) on Saturday, October 1 (this date was changed due to the heavy rains). The team continues the upper mat forming and reinforcing steel placements for the last of three mass concrete placements. The large middle mat pour consisting of more than 4,000 cubic yards of concrete is scheduled for next weekend.
